The webinar will be on urban wetland management in Cameroon, where we will look at- Ramsar sites in Cameroon,-Highlight the policies and organs involved in wetland management.-Challenges and prospects involved in the management of these wetlands.-Case study; Urban wetlands of Yaounde VII Subdivision. 

Speaker: Kongnso Edith

Kongnso W. Edith is a PhD fellow at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon, and has been a researcher at the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation (MINRESI) / National Institute of Cartography in Cameroon since January 2016. She applies GIS and remote sensing in natural resource management and environmental protection with a focus on wetlands.
